Clothing

Why he would be wearing expensive clothes is that the song is about grinding(which means working for a long time) as this would denote that he worked for his clothes and his money. Why i have added white shoes and white top is that you would normally see this in a hip/hip and rap music video this could lead to a genre video. Why he would be wearing headphone is because most video these day have Dr. Dre beat in the video this is for promotion what this would also do is make it look more professional and look like a real music video.

Typography

Where i would use the Typography is at the beginning of the music video and at the end of the music video. The typography that i will use is the retro font in the video why i would use this because what this would connotes is it would show art this would represent the history of hard work, leave your habits be hide and become a hard working person

Mise-en-scene

Audi RS3 would be used in the performance part of the video this is to indicate the lyrics as he has been girding to his success as the car would show this.

Artificial Low Key lighting (soft box lighting) we would use this is to light up the shot which are dark , this would also help us to get a cinematic look to the music video.

Natural Lighting(sun light) we would not have to Carrie around light as this could help and show the natural scene tot the music video, it would help the video be realistic.

Boxing Gym why i would use the Boxing gym is because it would help describe the song to the audience, this would show us that he has been working hard.
Parking lot we would use this is this is where we would place the car and the artist would preform the song in front of the camera

House to show the artist and his girlfriend living together and there would be ruff time.
London Skating park this would be his journey to his successes, while everyone is rolling he will be walking to his success.

Train station the artist would be kicked out of the train station because he doesn't have enough money as he think like a millionaire but hustles like a poor person.

Colours

Some of the colours that I may use in my design would be black is because it's a deep colour is could mean a lot of things to the audience as black could be seen as death or it could be seen as evil and suction. It could be used as how the artist was in the dark side.

What other colour I would use would be white because it a colour of pure you could see it as a pure person as an angle and there no dirt marks on the artist personality . It could.tell you how the artist came into the pure side and became clean.

Another colour I would would be grey because it show a mysterious character because it is a mixture of death and angle. Its how his beat is pure but which represents white and the lyrics are deep and dark.

What else I would use is maroon because it show the audience shading book from the hard work it would be good for this song because it about working to your dream.

An experimental colour i would use is Purple because it a colour that I could use to subvert the genre of the song . And this could help make the music video diffraction to video with the typical aspect in the genre.

Imagery

I see this song as someone being poor and not very wealthy and coping and leaving no one be hide.
I also see the exerciser as the artist is pumping to success and working hard(grinding).
I also see the artist working to become a millionaire and working clean for his money.
The lion represent the drive for the artist to go to his prey and getting his prey(success)
The news paper represent the good news that he is receiving as he is getting somewhere. What this connotes is the leading up to the success.

Permission for song

I choose this song because it is mostly instrumental and has at least some lyrics for a performance to be in the video. The song not having minimal lyrics allows me to create a video with any narrative. Also the beat of the song also be to have a structure of how i will edit the music video.
How "running wild" would be a good choice for a music video is it contains lots of instrumental to keep the audiences engaged ads stop them from being broad and also he has other aspect like lyrics which can be lead to a performance in the music video

Why I choose this song is because this song contains aspect in the song that could help me visualize the music video. The video would include cutting to the beat, genre video and and star persona. As this help me visualize the structure of the video.

"Montana" is a challenge that could be used to make a unique music video or a horrible video. The song is rap which is fast and would be hard to lip-sync, what we could do is contains glimpses in the video of performance and have a narrative.

The song has a lot of lyrics that we can interpret ate in the music video, what else this can help us with is to create a video with performance in it he could use techniques to make the artist the main subject to make her star persona.

Research on Client

What is 99dollarmusicvideos.com?

$ 99 music video .com is a company that allows upcoming filmmakers and independent artist/artist to produces a music video to showcase there art and skill. It is a company that help and provides them with a budget to create a music video that the filmmaker and the artist/band agrees on. It is a company that produces a video in a short amount of time due to the cost of the video production values.
They want filmmaker and artist to make music video to show off to an audience there skills and what type of artist and filmmaker there are.
It also help them to gain communication skills with working with other. There specialized in make music video that are unique and noticeable because their want to keep the audience engaged and interested of the making of the music video.

What is their ethos?

The ethos of $99 music video is that there are very professional how you can tell is they have a set time and places of where to shoot the music video. There have a set rules there have to stick to it. like if they only have a day to record  a music video they would do it on that day, they obey to there time table we can see this in the music video "strange machine" as it say in there description there filmed it in two days. The culture of music that they create is more based on the creative side , this is because there like to experiment with the music video, this is to help develop  skill for the filmmaker  and the artist/band to have an a better understanding of what music genre there are good at.

What types, labels and genres of music appear on their youtube channel?

The type of music video $99 music video is fast paces and energetic; there music video have a build up to keep the audiences engaged for the climax. The label that $99 music video would be is an independent  recored label because there music video are unique because there contains unusual aspect to them which make it , we we see this is in the music video "strange machines" redding hunter . What we can see is the character building up to an climax.why this type of music video would be labeled  as independent is because  it has a unique aspect to the video, it is something  you won't expect  in a normal music video. What this is keep the audience watching. You would fined there types of music video on there main YouTube channel.

What is the relationship between 99dollarmusicvideos.com, their film-makers and music acts?

Where we can see the relationship between the band and the filmmakers is "making of "whiskey " music video" The relationship  that they had is the filmmaker worked with the artist to create a video in the bands liking and shedule. What the filmmaker (Kathleen Grace) did is made the band learn to sign the song back word. This was because there want to tell a story in a unique way. How many the band and filmmaker spent was $65 which was in budget of $99musicvideo as this made the relationship  between them effient. How this could help improve my music video is to work with the artist/signer and have a same visual  in mind and agree on the same thing.

How does 99dollarmusicvideos.com encourage audience participation?

How $ 99 music video make encourage  the audience to watch the music video is they most have a story line in there music video or there something that is unique in the music video you will not normally see. Where $ 99 music video show this is in the music video "savour Aore -MERP music video season one final" what we see in the music video that encourages the audience  to watch is that there is stop motion involved in the music video why this make the audiences watch  it more because there have an editing technique  in the video that is not see very much as this is rear for the audience  to watch which make the audience watch the video which a question of "how did they do that".How this has inspired me is to use technique in a video that would not be normally used and to break some of the rules and create a music video that would be expected.

Is it possible to make a professional quality music video for $99?

I think that is is possible to make a music video out of $99 or less. Because some on the music I have see produces look like that they have a high production and skill in the music video. Where I have see a good skill and high product look.is the music video "mixed pixel - monster manual" why this music video is because it is animated what this tell me is that some with skill animated this video what this does is make it look like there is higher budget from the music video. Why this is also possible to make a music video from $99 is most of the re souses that you need is right in front of you you dot need to hire out a studio you could make a studio or have a plain wall as a studio. How this has influenced for my music video is that you do not hardly need a lot of money to make aesthetically pleasing music video

Andrew Goodwin Music Video Theory

Illustrating

Andrew Goodwin ides of relationship between the visuals and lyrics is seen to be illustrating what the artist is saying. Where this theory is supported is in the music video "walk" by food fighter. We're we see this take place in the music video is at ( 1:26)  ,when the artist say a line in the music video "your signal is in the distants," stright after there is a shot of his phone with a battery dead sign on it to indercate no signal. We're else we see Goodwin theory  is at ( 1:47) were the artist say "when will I return" then in the next shot you see him turing  around the corner which help link up to the lyrics. This supports the Goodwin theory on the lyrics match the action in the music video.

Amplifying

How Andrew Goodwin ides of relationship between the visuals and lyrics is seen to be amplifying. What amplifying means is the music video designed  to enhance  the style and the mood of the song.  In the music video "Like I can " by Sam smith we can see visual  in the music video that help the audience  see in a different  way what we can see at ( 0:01-2:44) is the music video is black and white which make it soothing to watch as it make the audiences feel a deep feeling for the song . We're else we can see this is at ( 0:20) we can see the characters in the song wearing suits which make it more formal and could make it more understanding  for the audience.

Contradicting

Goodwin theory on a music video that deliberately goes against convention of the gener. We see this in the music video "Save that money" by Lil dicky how this music video show Goodwin theroy is at (1:17) you see him ask stager if he could use there house to be in his music video, what this does it tell us that he is not rich. Why this Contradicting is because in a hiphop/rap music video you would expect  the artist to be rich and to look rich. What else is shown in the music video is that the artist is being rejected  by people from using there property you see this at (0:22) what ghis tell us that he does have high authority as what you would see in a topical music video.

Iconography and Genre Convention

Goodwin theroy on genre  convention is a means of a music video have the typical aspect in the video to define the genre. We see this in the music video "Chevy " by David cash we can see the gener denotes through the clothes we can see the artist wearing baggy  cloths and snap back (hats) what this tell.us that this is a hiphop/rap music we see this at (1:00).we can also see car at (1:55) what this tell us is that the have money to have expensive cars because this is a typical convention you see in a hiphop/ rap music video.

Star Persona and Close-Ups

Goodwin idea of star persona and close-ups to the artist shows a hight interest and keeps focus  on the artist we can see this in the music video dark horse by Katy Perry. 80% of the music video is based on her and focused on her how we can tell is the amount of camera cuts to her face or to a aspect on her body part. We're we can see a close up that shows us that's it all about her is at (2:12) when she is drinking through a big cup that her slaves brand to her , what this connotes that she is in charge and decides everything.Where else we see a close up is when she is pole dancing at (2:48) and there is a close up of her shoes and legs this is to tell us that she is all we have to look at because the focus  is on her.

Voyeurism

How Andrew Goodwin idea of voyeurism is used in the music video "Talk Dirty". What voyeurism is the treatment of a female body is seen as a sexual symbol to the audience, it is a video that you watch without feeling guilty as there is a element in the video that someone else is also watch the female , what this make you feel your not alone.
Where we can see this in "Talk Dirty" music video is at (0:57) what you can see is Jason Derulo is sitting down and a woman with a big bum is shaking her bum in fort of him this is a sexual act. What this does is make the audiences not feel guilty because Jason Derulo is also watching he as well.
Where you see this in the music video is at ( 1:15) you can see Jason in the middle and girls around him wearing sexy clothes which are making the girls half naked, by how Goodwin theory comes in is that the audience won't feel guilty  because there is a male in the shot which make them feel like there watching the male but in fact watching the female in around him.

Intertextuality

Goodwin idea of intertexuality is seen in the music video"Never say Never". What intertexuality is when one media refers to another media, it is explicitly show us the synergy between the artist and the media (film) what the music video would inculed to show this is props, actors from the film , sets and footage from the actual film.
Were we can see this in "Never say Never" music video is at (2:19) what you can see is the main actor from "Karate kid" which is Jaden Smith is singing in front of the camera , what Goodwin theory shows that the two media would have gain a more view through the synergy. What is also shown is footage from the real movie in the music video where you see this is at (0:50) you see multiply cut of film footage. What this does it help back up Goodwin theory of selling two idea through on media, what this means is two different media will join together to make one.
